Our pacesetter supports the common good of the Fond du Lac area by jump starting the annual campaign drive before the official September kick-off. The pacesetter inspires other businesses to follow their lead when it is time to run their own campaigns. Donations support the healthy, educational and supportive needs of men, women, children and youth who benefit from the local services of our partner agencies.

LIVING UNITED FOR THE COMMON GOOD Most Sincerely
In an extensive community survey conducted by United Way in 2009 Fond du Lac citizens told us they are concerned with:
Generational poverty
Peoples Stability and Independence
Peoples Health and Wellness
Using their input United Way realigned its community development and fundraising efforts to support human service programs that address poverty, stability, independence, health and wellness.
As such, three new community impact goals have become the driving force behind everything we do. The goals are:
Building a Supportive Community
Building a Healthy Community
Building an Educated community
These goals are mobilzed into action steps with community partners who share our common vision, especially our partner agencies. The transactions that influence the change comes from corporate and employee giving, foundation support and people throughout the community, including our retirees. For that we are all greatful.
This year alone, slightly more than 27,000 men, women, children and youth will be served in programs that provide the support, health and education services needed by our most vulnerable citizens. When our adults, children and youth are educated, healthy and basic needs cared for our communities are stronger and healther.
We invite you to be a part of our change. Together, we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow. GIVE, ADVOCATE, VOLUNTEER...LIVE UNITED
