The annual DAY OF SHARING is a workday event that offers area employers an opportunity to contribute to our community by volunteering at United Way funded agencies. This meaningful and rewarding event kicks off United Way's community campaign each year.
GETTING INVOLVED
Company teams are matched with United Way agencies in need of project help. Projects range from disseminating material to washing windows, painting, building, landscaping or cleaning, and take anywhere from two to six hours.
UNITED WAY KICK OFF
All the teams are invited to attend the United Way Campaign kicks off breakfast and get a royal sendoff as they begin their Day of Sharing projects.
"COOL DOWN" CELEBRATION
At 3:30 p.m. all volunteers, their employer representatives, and participating agency representatives are invited to a thank-you celebration. The informal social event gives everyone the opportunity to share the day's experiences and rewards.
