Azra Wood

FARM TO EARLY CHILDCARE COORDINATOR 

Azra Wood received a bachelors degree from UW Oshkosh in 2012. Majoring in Sociology with a minor in Japanese language, she was equipped with the tools to take her on life’s greatest adventures. In 2013, Azra left retail/sales and moved to South Korea to begin teaching ESL to preschool and kindergarten aged children. She enjoyed it so much that she continued this journey for nearly a decade before returning to the USA. She served for a year as the Children’s Director of a small library, and now is excited to begin her role with United Way. Community has always been at the forefront of Azra’s core values. She has found her own pocket of family through theatre. Where she performed in South Korea, and continues to pursue here in Fond du Lac with various theatre companies.
